Will There Ever Be Another You by Patricia Lockwood

Will There Ever Be Another You is a novel by Patricia Lockwood, set during a global pandemic, about a young woman trying to keep her family and her own mind intact after a devastating loss and a baffling illness.

Frightened by the floorboards of her own home, haunted by a song stuck on repeat in her head and unsure who her friends are, she wonders whether the illness has handed her a new mind and a chance to begin again. Written in Lockwood’s inventive, fragmentary style, it explores memory, grief and the strangeness of living wholly in the present, and suits readers of adventurous literary fiction.
