The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom

The Time Keeper is a fable by Mitch Albom about the man who invented the world’s first clock. Punished for centuries for daring to measure time, he is finally released and given a chance at redemption: he must teach two people what time truly means.

Back on earth, he crosses paths with a teenage girl on the brink of giving up and a wealthy, elderly businessman desperate to live forever, and he can only save himself by saving them both. A short, thoughtful novel about how we spend our days and why every moment matters.
